REVIEW: Breaking Her by R.K. Lilley

Image
Synopsis: SCARLETT  He had done it again. Ravaged me. Burned me. Broke me. Given me air, only to leave me gasping, writhing.  But then something changed. Something that terrified and excited me both.  Something that utterly destroyed me. Something that made me whole again. DANTE Our love was cursed from the start. She didn’t know it but I did.  All she knew was that I’d lied to her, betrayed her. Done unforgiveable things. Unavoidable things. Yes, I had broken promises as surely as I had broken her heart. But, just as every war has casualties, and ever lie has consequences-every bastard has his reasons. Title: Breaking Her Author: R.K. Lilley Purchase:  Amazon  ~  Kindle BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my God. This book punched me right in my feels. Right in the gut. It put so many pieces together from Breaking Him and I’m thoroughly pleased about that because I would have been distraught if I didn’t find out all I wanted ( needed ) to know.  Can I say thank you for Dante’s point

Writing Your Own Book/Story

Image
Just a little personal post here… Okay, so for the last year or so I’ve been trying to write a book/story on Wattpad. I get so into it and then I’m not. I get stuck in writers block for about a month straight. It sucks because I really want to write. I want to make people enjoy reading more. I need help with my writing process. I have so many great ideas running through my head on a daily basis. When it comes down to writing it, I can’t do it. Why???? Is there any helpful hints anyone can share with me? And please don’t be rude. I’ve already had enough people telling me that I can’t do it.

TAG TUESDAY: Epic Reads Tag

Image
Welcome back to Tag Tuesday! It’s also Pretty Little Liars season seven premier day, eeeek!!! I’m hoping you all are having a great week and can’t wait to see your Epic Reads Tag. 1. If you could invite one author and one of their fictional characters to lunch, who would you invite and what would you serve them? Anna Todd and Hardin Scott. I just want to bitch him out really bad for being a dick to Tessa for such a long time. And I wouldn’t serve them anything because I don’t do much cooking. We would most likely go to a restaurant. 2. What book do you wish the author would write a prequel for?  Omg. There are so many. Ugly Love and November 9 by Colleen Hoover deserve a prequel. See Me by Nicholas Sparks needs one. Bleed Like Me by Christa Desir DEFINITELY needs one. 3. Which two characters (not from the same book) would make a good couple? I can’t play cupid. 🙁 4. If you ran into your favorite author on the subway and only could say one sentence to them, who is it and what would th

REVIEW: Breaking Him by R.K. Lilley

Synopsis: SCARLETT It was the kind of relationship where I’ve invested more than I had to spare. I gave it everything. And so when it failed, I lost myself. It changed me. He changed me.  I went down with the ship. My soul, burnt embers in the aftermath. The fire of him ravaged it all. He burned me. Broke me. __ Scarlett had always dreamed big. She was headed straight for Hollywood. Destined for silver screen greatness.  But in her wildest dreams she never imagined she’d be broke and single at twenty-eight, doling drinks at thirty-five thousand feet. She was a glorified waitress in the skies. It had been years since she’d seen him. But one day, there he sat, gazing intently at her, ready to set everything ablaze once more. Dante wanted her. Again. Sure, she’d play along…but this time, it was his turn. She was breaking him. After all, love is war. Title: Breaking Him Author: R.K. Lilley Purchase:  Amazon  ~  Kindle BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD!!! So the beginning is simple enough. Scarlett is

TAG TUESDAY: The Coffee Book Tag

Image
It’s Tuesday again!! It’s time for a tag! This is my first tag using photos so let’s see how it goes! The sections go by different kinds of coffee, I thought it was a good idea. BLACK: A SERIES THAT’S TOUGH TO GET THROUGH BUT HAS HARDCORE FANS The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy J.R.R Tolkien  I’m a hardcore fan of LOTR myself, enough so that it is the theme of my wedding. I will admit that it was a hard series to get through. That’s probably because I read them in middle school though.  PEPPERMINT MOCHA: A BOOK THAT GETS MORE POPULAR DURING THE THE WINTER OR A FESTIVE TIME OF YEAR November 9 Colleen Hoover I feel like November 9 becomes most popular during the fall season. It such a perfect book for fall photos too! (Not gonna lie, I bought it for the cover >,<) HOT CHOCOLATE: A FAVORITE CHILDREN’S BOOK The Giving Tree  Shel Silverstein I didn’t even have to think about this one. The Giving Tree will always be my favorite children’s book. It teaches a great lesson for life. DOUBLE SHO

REVIEW: Adore by Nina Lane

Image
Synopsis: Liv and Dean have everything… almost. With a rambunctious toddler, crazy work schedules, and too many responsibilities, they’ve lost sight of their passionate, intimate marriage. And Professor West is none too happy about that. Determined to lure his wife into hot new adventures, Dean struggles with his need to have Liv all to himself and the reality of sharing her with the world.  Then he gets an opportunity that could change their lives… and Liv is faced with the prospect of her white knight going places where she can’t follow. Title: Adore Author: Nina Lane Purchase:  Paperback  ~  Kindle Beware: Spoilers Ahead!!! First thing, poor Liv. I know exactly what it’s like to have a toddler who throws temper tantrums over nothing. I’m right with her there, with not knowing how to be the best mom ever. She’s trying and I love her for that.  Okay, question for Liv and Dean. How do you keep your relationship going if you don’t tell each other anything???? I know it sucks being busy

Mini Book Haul:

Image
So I ordered these two books a few weeks ago and they’re finally here!!! I didn’t think they were going to show up for some reason. (Probably because this is the first time I ordered something out of the country.) I ordered these from the website Abebooks . Abebooks is a middle man basically and you get the books from different companies. These are from the Book Depository. They were in the great condition they were told they would be in and I’m extremely happy about it! I bought Finding Cinderella because it goes with the Hopeless series by Colleen Hoover. I have yet to read the first two and I refused to until I got this one, so they will be my next read after the Love Is War duo. I bought Indebted Epilogue because I do plan on purchasing the rest of the series as soon as possible. My husband found it quite strange that I purchased the last book in the series before any other ones >.< Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year old Da
