December Book Haul

Image
Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm bringing you my December book haul. I'm pretty stoked to be getting physical books again. I did so good this year and got mostly ebooks just to save space in my home. I'm honestly so shocked that I'm still blogging. December was kind of stressful for me and it still is pretty stressful. It looks like I'm bringing in the new year with anxiety 👌 I just realized that this book haul is basically a repeat of November's book haul. I got a lot of gift cards for Christmas and bought all the books I really wanted to have a physical copy of. My wonderful husband also got me the Fairyloot editions of From Blood and Ash and I'm obsessed .  I was going to do each individual book and have their synopsis as well. That was taking too long and I'm trying not to get slumped by blogging.  Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox A Shadow In The Ember by Jennifer L. Armentrout While We Were Dating by

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine where we highlight some of the upcoming books we can’t wait to read! I honestly don't know much about this book. I like the cover and it looks like a fun time! As Seen On T.V. by Meredith Schorr Emerging journalist Adina Gellar is done with dating in New York City. Only Pleasant Hollow isn't exactly "pleasant." There's no charming bakery, no quaint seasonal festivals, and the residents are more

My Favorite Romance Reads of 2021

Image
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl . This week’s topic is to talk about our favorite reads of the year. I changed it up a bit because I wanted to talk about my favorite romances of the year. 2021 has been the year of romance books for me. The majority of the books I read were from the romance genre. Words cannot express how happy that makes me. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about why I loved the books. I'll do a couple of sentences. I'm just trying to not get burned out from blogging again.  Basically, I'm going to paste whatever short review I wrote in Goodreads on here and have a laugh at it. I'm shocked that three Tessa Bailey books ended up on this list! When Sparks Fly by Helena Hunting: I simply adored this book. Declan was just the sweetest and did everything he could to take care of Avery. I literally read this book in less than 24 hours. I was completely addicted to it and never wanted to put it down. Helena Hunt

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata

About The Book Title: All Rhodes Lead Here Author: Mariana Zapata Genre: Romance Page Count: 570 Rating: ★★★★ Synopsis: Losing people you love is hard. Aurora De La Torre knows moving back to a place that was once home isn’t going to be easy. Starting your whole life over probably isn’t supposed to be. But a small town in the mountains might be the perfect remedy for a broken heart. Checking out her landlord across the driveway just might cure it too. Links Goodreads ~ Amazon ~ Kindle ~ Book Depository My Review Mariana Zapata is the queen of slow-burn romance. I have heard so many people say this… now I believe it. I normally hate slow-burn because I’m so impatient. But, she does it so perfectly. All Rhodes Lead Here follows Aurora, a woman who is just coming out of a fourteen-year-long relationship. She decides to move back to her hometown and start working on trails that her mother used to walk. Well, there’s an issue with the apartment she rented. That problem was Rhodes.

Books I Hope Santa Brings

Image
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl . This week’s topic is to talk about books that we hope Santa gifts us for Christmas! Christmas is my favorite time of the year so I’m always excited to talk about it. I kind of already know what I’m getting so I’m not going to do a crazy post about what I wish I’m getting when I already know. (my husband can’t keep a secret) From Blood and Ash (Fairyloot editions) I know for a fact this trilogy is under my tree right now and I’m dying to look upon their beauty. I missed out on getting them when Fairyloot was selling them. So, unfortunately, they were not cheap. I’m just super excited to add them to my collection. Other Romance Novels I know that my husband also spoiled the fact that he got more romance novels off my wishlist. I don’t know what they are but I honestly don’t care what they are. They could be anything and I would be happy about it 🙂 What books do you hope Santa brings you?

Happy Holidays!!

Image
It’s my favorite time of the year! With that being said, I think it’s pretty obvious that I have slowed down my posting here on my blog and social media. It’s December 10th and I haven’t even finished a book so far this month. I really try to just do things with my family this time of year. I don’t like stressing about posting about books. So with that said, I may or may not post more this month. I’m definitely planning on making sure that I post more in January. I’m planning on doing more giveaways. There are so many books on my shelves that I no longer want to read and my local library isn’t accepting donations so… I’ll give them to you guys! I just wanted to pop in and say hello and let you all know that I am doing okay. Just enjoying my favorite time of year and spending time with family 🎄 I wish the happiest of holidays to all of you!

Christmas Romance Novels

Image
Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today, I wanted to kind of bring the Christmas spirit to my blog. I wanted to share a list of Christmas romance novels! These aren’t necessarily books that I have read personally. I asked on Twitter for Christmas romance recommendations and this is what we got! (Jokes on me, hardly anyone commented so I’m changing my plans for this post) Basically, this is a list of Christmas romance novels I want to read. So, let me know if you have read any of these. The Mistletoe Motive by Chloe Liese He loathes the holidays. She loves them. She’s full of festive cheer. He’s brimming with Bah, Humbugs. Besides unreasonably seasonable names, the only thing Jonathan Frost and Gabriella Di Natale have in common is a healthy dose of mutual contempt. Well, that and the same place of employment at the city’s most beloved independent bookstore, Bailey’s Bookshop. But when the store’s owners confess its dire financial state, Jonathan and Gabby discover another unfortunate
