Image
About The Book Title: Fable of Happiness Series: Fable #2 Author: Pepper Winters Genre: Dark Romance Page Count: 434 Rating: ★★★★★ Synopsis: A valley full of secrets. A history full of nightmares. A man who cannot be saved. And a woman who holds his very life in her hands. Strange how the villain of a story can so easily become the victim. Utter lunacy to think the captive might now become the caregiver. Gemma has a decision to make. Her life or his. Follow her heart, even when it’s screaming at her to run? Or turn her back on the man who could become her everything? Links Goodreads ~ Amazon ~ Kindle ~ Audiobook ~ Book Depository My Review Wow. Pepper Winters can never do wrong in my eyes. This series is definitely high up on my list of her books. It’s also definitely going to end up on my list of the best reads of 2021. Fable of Happiness book #2 is basically just a continuation of where the first book ends. In this book, Gemma gets more of a feeling of what Kas went throug

July Fairyloot Unboxing

I’m trying to think of a better way of doing these unboxings. I’m not the best at taking pictures so they don’t look really good. Maybe I should just take one picture with all of the items in it? I’m going to try that this month and see if I like it. I’ve decided to not take individual pictures of the items because it’s just so time-consuming. I believe that you can see each item well enough in the photo. I will take extra pictures of the book only because that’s obviously the most important part. I tried to wait to post until I was sure a great majority got their boxes so I wouldn’t spoil them. So without further adieu, here is my July Fairyloot unboxing! Umbrella This umbrella was designed by team Fairyloot. I do love a good umbrella. It definitely comes in handy living in Florida. I love that it’s compact and can fit in my purse. Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland… I will probably still use it in emergencies. Or I may just try and trade it. I still haven’t deci

The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

About The Book Title: The Spanish Love Deception Author: Elena Armas Genre: Romance Page Count: 482 Rating: ★★★★ Synopsis: A wedding. A trip to Spain. The most infuriating man. And three days of pretending. Or in other words, a plan that will never work. Catalina Martín, finally, not single. Her family is happy to announce that she will bring her American boyfriend to her sister’s wedding. Everyone is invited to come and witness the most magical event of the year. That would certainly be tomorrow’s headline in the local newspaper of the small Spanish town I came from. Or the epitaph on my tombstone, seeing the turn my life had taken in the span of a phone call. Four weeks wasn’t a lot of time to find someone willing to cross the Atlantic–from NYC and all the way to Spain–for a wedding. Let alone, someone eager to play along my charade. But that didn’t mean I was desperate enough to bring the 6’4 blue eyed pain in my ass standing before me. Aaron Blackford . The man whose main occu

Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine where we highlight some of the upcoming books we can’t wait to read! I’m sure nobody is shocked that this book is a book that I’m dying to get my hands on. I’m hoping I manage to snag an arc, if they’re released. I’m not getting my hopes up about that at all though. LOOK AT THAT COVER. I cannot wait to see this book next to House of Earth and Blood . House of Breath and Sky by Sarah J. Ten Books I'd Like To Read Before 2021 Ends

Image
Hello and welcome back to my blog! We’re getting close to the end of the year and even though I have read almost 100 books so far, there are still quite a few books I’d like to get to before the year ends. So today, I wanted to share with you ten books I’d like to get to before the end of the year. This list is subject to change. And just because a book is on this list, it doesn’t mean I’ll get to it because of how I choose my next book to read. If you don’t know, I have a list of all my unread books and I do a random number generator and that’s how I pick my next read! *each link will take you to Goodreads* Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey: It’s no secret that I love Tessa Bailey. It’s also no secret that I love Christmas. I feel like this is going to be the perfect book for me! 🎄 A Psalm of Storms and Silence by Roseanne A. Brown: A Song of Wraiths and Ruin was the first book I finished in 2021. How cool would it be if this book was the last book I read this year? I think that’

Heartless by Willow Winters

Image
About The Book Title: Heartless Series: Merciless #2 Author: Willow Winters Genre: Romance Page Count: 304 Rating: ★★★ Synopsis: At first, his words were harsh and his touch cold. I didn’t want to be in his presence any more than he wanted me there. I knew he was a dangerous man and he could destroy me if only he wanted to. That’s not what he wanted though. It’s not what he needed. It’s not what I desired either. It’s so easy to get lost in the touch of a man who’s powerful and unattainable. A man who wants for nothing … except me. Soft touches and stolen glances made my blood heat and my heart beat in a way I never knew it could. Yes, it’s easy to fall into a haze of lust and desire. But there’s a reason his reputation is one of a heartless man. And I should have known better. Links Goodreads ~ Amazon ~ Kindle ~ Audiobook ~ Book Depository My Review I was introduced to the Dark Romance genre a few years ago now and I absolutely love it. When I saw this bindup at Barnes and N

September Wrap Up

Image
I have obviously taken another break from blogging. I kind of just want to blog when I feel like it, I guess. I’m going to try very hard to keep up with it so that I don’t have a lot of catching up to do. I’d have to say I had a pretty decent reading month! My favorite read definitely has to be The Heart Principle. That book destroyed my heart. Dear Enemy by Kristen Callihan: This book was alright. It was a super slow burn and there were times I was a bit bored. It’s supposed to be enemies-to-lovers but I wasn’t really feeling those vibes. Also, it was a bit too long. ⭐⭐⭐ Love Her Or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey: I freaking adored this book. It’s one of the few books where the two main characters are already married. They’re just trying to save their marriage. Tessa Bailey just threw this one out of the water! (is that the correct saying?) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Roomies by Christina Lauren: I love a good book with the marriage of convenience plot! I really loved this book. I honestly think Christina L

September Book Haul

Image
Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today, I’m bringing you my September book haul. Let’s face it, buying books and reading books are two separate hobbies. You cannot change my mind. I’m pretty happy with this haul this month. It’s mostly romance! I do like fantasy… I promise I do. I just love romance more. For the longest time, I was forcing myself to read mostly fantasy because I thought I would be judged for loving romance. I no longer care about what people think and I’m going to read what I want to read.
