Would You Rather... Spooky Edition. Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Here’s a nice little spooky post for the day. I can’t believe it’s already Halloween. Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. I’m too excited for the holidays and I’m wanting them to hurry up and get here! With all that being said, let’s get into these spooky would you rathers! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Thrillers or Supernatural(s): Ugh… I guess this really just depends on my mood. Some days I really like things that put that thrill in me and some days I like things like The Vampire Diaries where there’s a lot of supernatural things. Ummmmm. I’m just going to go with supernatural. I watch/read more with supernatural things compared to thrillers.  Ghosts or Zombies: I hate zombies. I think they are the dumbest things ever thought up. Ghosts. Definitely. At least they could be real.  Vampires or Werewolves: I’m a bigger fan of vampires. I have to to read a

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Need To Read Before 2018 Ends

Image
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This weeks topic was a Halloween/Creepy freebie. Well, I have a Halloween-type post that I have scheduled for tomorrow so I’ve decided to stray away from the creepy vibes. There are many books I need to read before this year is done with so I thought I would share with you guys! I know there’s no way in hell I’ll be able to read all of these before the year is over. Seeing as I let a randomizer choose what I read. So you may see this in my list of books I didn’t get to in 2018 and must read in 2019. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1. Book Review: Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

Image
Synopsis: Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the Captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the King of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken. His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica—the stronghold of the southern continent’s mighty empire. And with war looming over Dorian and Aelin back home, their survival might lie with Chaol and Nesryn convincing its rulers to ally with them. But what they discover in Antica will change them both—and be more vital to saving Erilea than they could have imagined. Purchase: Amazon – Kindle – Audiobook My Review: This series has found it’s way up to my all time favorite series. With that being said, I did not want to read this book. I do not like Chaol. I know a lot of people say that this book will make you like him. I still don’t l

Top Five Tuesday: Top 5 Books With Magic

Image
Happy Birthday to me! Today I am celebrating my 25th year of life. I was very kindly given the day off. I thought I was going to be able to spend my day reading Kingdom of Ash , but that unfortunately isn’t happening until maybe later this week. With that being said, my progress with Tower of Dawn isn’t going so well. I really cannot get into this book! I hate Chaol so much! I’m going to try and power through most of it today. I’m about 41% through it right now. Maybe I can finish by the time I’m able to buy KoA . Let’s just hop right into the top five books with magic before I keep on typing and run out of reading time. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Top Five Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Shanah over at Bionic Book Worm . We get to explore a variety of fun topics. It’s short and sweet. Feel free to share your top five! __________________________________________________________________________

My Kingdom of Ash Predictions:

Image
I really want to make a post about what I think is going to happen in Kingdom of Ash. I’m too excited for this book and I’m dying to see what happens. I’m just, UGH! I really need this book in my hands and I probably won’t get it until Friday. It’s not fair. With that being said, I’m going to share with you guys my predictions for Kingdom of Ash. Of course, feel free to share your predictions in the comments! Keep in mind, I’m still reading Tower of Dawn and so none of these predictions are going to involve anything that happens in that book. Dorian is a Valg demon. Ashley from Ashleyoutpaged on Youtube has me convinced! I’m really anticipating that Dorian is a Valg demon. There’s no way he’s not. He looks nothing like his parents. His father was infested with a Valg demon and if they can reproduce with the witches, they can reproduce with anyone. Also, they obviously didn’t kill Dorian and so that demon that was inside of him should still be there. There should be no exceptions! I be

The Fall Reading Book Tag:

Image
Living in Florida, we don’t really get a fall. We’ve had one morning with the weather below 80 degrees. So why not do a fall tag? We need something that resembles this amazing season we don’t get to see. I saw that Kelly over at Just Another Book In The Wall did this tag and decided I’m going to go ahead and post another tag this week. This tag was originally created by Bionic Book Worm . This tag is only including books I’ve read in 2018. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CRISP FALL AIR – A BOOK THAT FELT FRESH AND NEW All Your Perfects by Colleen Hover. I think this book has become my favorite Colleen Hoover book. It really just made me feel all the feels. I definitely cried a little bit here and there, which is something that I don’t normally do.  ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ HOWLING WINDS – A BOOK THAT BLEW

Book Review: Love In Lingerie by Alessandra Torre

Image
SYNOPSIS: I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her. The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants. Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules. Damn the company. Damn our friendship. Damn my fears. Purchase: Amazon – Kindle – Audiobook ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ MY REVIEW: I’ve had this book on my shelves for quite some time now. I can’t even remember when I bought it. I finally decided to pick this up. I didn’t even let my randomizer app choose it for me. I figured that it’ll be a short read and it can cancel out the long book I’m reading this week. I’m p
