Book Blogger Confessions!

Here I am, trying to post more than just book reviews! I got to a point where I was getting excited about blogging again. At the moment, things aren't 100%. Julian's grandpa is really sick and we're going to be doing a lot of driving to spend more time with him. We're just trying to stay positive and keep everything as normal as possible. I decided to do a book tag today! I haven't done one in so long. I probably did this tag back in the day when I did tags weekly back in 2017. I'm sure my answers have changed soooo yeah. Here we go! Which book, most recently, did you not finish? I know this answer is definitely going to be different than what I would have said a couple of years ago. I used to force myself to finish every book that I pick up. I no longer do that. DNFing has become one of my best friends. I recently tried reading Wrecked by Maria Padian and could not get into the writing style. I honestly DNFed at like 10 pages. Which book is your guilty pleasu

Away From The Blog This week went back to normal. I'm so thankful that this week wasn't stressful. The only stress I was feeling was that we might not have gotten our tax refund before we go on vacation. We finally got a date which means I can stop stressing about having spending money at one of the most expensive places in Florida. TWO WEEKS UNTIL VACATION! This week was honestly amazing. I got a freaking copy of House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. Aurora was so kind to send me her finished copy that she received early. I'm dying to see what happens in this book. I'm about 70 pages in and my heart has already been broken. New Books This Week Books I Finished This Week Currently Reading What are you currently reading? What have you recently finished? What new books did you get? What is something good that has happened in your life this week?

Away From The Blog This week has been a freaking roller coaster. Marcel got sick. I missed a good chunk of work. It was really stressful and emotional for me. I just hate when my son is sick and there's nothing I can do. I also got really bugged about my job but I'm not gonna complain about that here.  I did have an AMAZING thing happen this week. Aurora reached out to me and she's sending me a book that I'm sooo excited for. I'm not going to say what it is yet because I want it to be a surprise. Follow my Instagram if you want to see me unbox it when I receive it! Aurora is just so sweet. She noticed I was having a really stressful week and she talked with me about it and it definitely made me feel a lot better. I don't have a lot of friends I can talk to and it was nice to talk to someone! New Books This Week Books I Finished This Week Currently Reading What are you currently reading? Away From The Blog This week has been just so stressful . I feel like I was at work all day. Nonstop. I didn't necessarily have a good work week. I try not to let that affect my home-life but unfortunately it did. I have not been in a good mood this week. I'm trying to look at the bright side. I'm one week closer to my vacation! Today, we're going on a mini-trip to a mall about an hour away. There's a Barnes and Noble there and a Lush store. I'm gonna get some books and some smelly good bath stuff. I am going to destress today! Books I Finished This Week Everless by Sara Holland: To be honest, I wish I DNFed this book. It has put me in an audiobook slump and I cannot find another book I want to listen to. I was let down by this book. Vicious by V.E. Schwab: I loved this book. This is the first V.E. A Book I Know NOTHING About!

Here's my attempt at trying to make random daily posts. I really like posting daily. Sometimes multiple times a day. I used to post daily on Instagram. I honestly have fallen out of love with Insta. I just don't like it anymore and will probably be phasing it out... I tried doing this before I went on my blogging hiatus. I really enjoyed it and I hope you guys enjoy these random posts too! Today, I want to talk about a book that I have on my shelf that I know nothing about. I bought An Unkindness of Magicians by Kat Howard through Book Outlet a long time ago. I bought this book in 2018 and I still know nothing about it! You may ask, why buy a book that you know nothing about? HAVE YOU SEEN THIS COVER? I had to have it. It's gorgeous. It was also super cheap on BO. I haven't seen this book talked about anywhere so I'm hoping it's as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. Is there a book on your shelves that you don't know anything about? If so, wh

WWW Wednesday // Feb 05, 2020

Hello friends! I feel like I haven't done a WWW Wednesday in a long time. It's been like two weeks. I kind of got into a bit of a blogging slump and I got really busy at work. I'm trying hard to find a balance between everything in my life again. I just feel like everything got busy all at once. This post today is going to be kind of boring because the last time I finished a book was in January. I read eleven books last month and now I'm apparently in a bit of a reading slump too. This is a meme hosted by  Sam @ Taking on a World of Words  which asks the questions… What did you recently finish reading? What are you currently reading? What do you think you’ll read next? What I Recently Finished Reading I've been naughty so far this month and haven't finished anything since January... I promise that I'm almost finished with a book right now. What Am I Currently Reading Everless by Sara Holland: (61%) I really liked the idea of using time from your life as cur
