AWAY FROM THE BLOG As Christmas gets closer, I get busier. The work week was pretty nice and slow. I was able to go out and do more things this week. I wasn’t just confined to my house. Which means, I didn’t finish reading any books this week.  We took our little man to see Santa on Saturday. Boy, was he excited. My son loves Santa. He’s never once cried when he looked at him. Even as a baby! Here’s some pictures that I took: With Christmas being one week away, I’m not going to guarantee that I have posts coming. I’m almost done with A Gathering Of Shadows and I honestly think that’ll be the last book that is read before Christmas.  I wish you all the merriest Christmas. I hope it is everything you could ever ask for. I’ll be spending so much time away from my computer and I hope you guys do too! NEW BOOKS THIS WEEK I won another book from Goodreads! It’s an ARC of This Is Not A Love Scene by S.C. Megale. I’m thinking about taking a little break from reading the Darker Shade Of Magic s

A to Z Book Tag ~ 2018

I’ve been really slacking with my blog. I just haven’t really been feeling it, you know? I always want to make the best blog I can have and I never end up doing any of the things I want to do. Does anyone else have this issue? I could have sworn I did a tag like this back in 2016 but I think I did something entirely different. I don’t remember. But I’m doing this while listening to A Gathering Of Shadows because I’m set on finishing this series before the end of this year! This is going to be entirely based on 2018. A // An Author You’ve Read The Most Books From I’m pretty sure I read the most from Sarah J. Maas. This was the year I finally swallowed my pride and gave into the hype. Boy, am I glad I did.  B // Best Sequel Ever A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J. Maas. This book was just an amazing sequel and I’m still in love with it.  C //  Currently Reading A Gathering Of Shadows by V.E. Schwab D // Drink Of Choice While Reading Dr. Pepper. Always.  E // E-Reader Or Physical Book Ph

AWAY FROM THE BLOG This week has been super busy. I’ve worked a lot and didn’t really have time to do too much. We did some shopping on Friday night after I got off work. We got some Christmas presents and we also discovered this amazing store called Ollie’s. They have so many cheap books. You’ll see that down below.  We went to Lights of Lakeland last night. Basically, it’s Christmas land. It was so unbelievably crowded. We didn’t stay too long but we did have fun. Other than that, we didn’t really do too much. I totally ate a shit ton of Taco Bell last night too. No regrets. NEW BOOKS THIS WEEK I was naughty with getting books this week. But, they were so cheap, I had to. Super cheap. A Million Junes: $1.99. R.I.P Eliza Hart: $3.99. Jane Unlimited: $1.99. Warcross: $1.99. It was an amazing haul this week. Didn’t spend more than $20! Hey guys, I’m coming at you today with a fun little book tag. I’m trying to do at least one random blog post a week that’s not a book review or haul or anything like that. I didn’t particularly want to do the Top Ten Tuesday topic for the week soooo I’m bringing you a tag. I’m trying to read as much as I can this month. I’ve already finished two books and I’m working on my third. With that being said, I’m going to hurry up and do this tag and get to reading. I have done this post in the past but I decided to do it again. Fight me. 1. Where do you typically write your blog posts? I do all of my blogging in my room on my computer. I used to have a laptop and could make my posts anywhere I wanted. But now I can’t 🙁 2. How long does it generally take you to write a book review? It honestly doesn’t take me long at all. It really depends on the book. I would say at least 45 minutes. I don’t necessarily write long reviews so it doesn’t take long at all. 3. When did you start your book blog?

AWAY FROM THE BLOG It’s finally December! The best month of the year. I’m looking forward to so many thing this month and I can’t wait to share them with all of you. As for last week, I didn’t do too much. I worked late a lot this week and it’s hard to go out and get anything done when I have to work late.  As you can see, I’ve made changes to my blog… again. That was my main focus for this week. I wanted everything to look clean and simple. I didn’t want to do the crazy filters on my photos anymore. I’m really liking the white minimal look. What do you guys think? NEW BOOKS THIS WEEK This is yet another Goodreads giveaway I won. I’ve been doing pretty good with luck with Goodreads this last part of the year. I actually have another win on the way! THIS WEEK I READ I didn’t get a lot of reading done this week. I only finished one book, unfortunately. ADSOM was a pretty good book. I didn’t fall in love with it like everyone else, though. POSTS FROM THE WEEK End Of The Year Book Tag Book

November Reading Wrap Up:

Image
This was a pretty decent reading month for me. I read my first graphic novel, Speak. I was surprised with how quick I read it. Less than four hours! I also read the behemoth, Kingdom of Ash. BOY, I never thought I was going to finish that thing. I ended up finishing the month with some contemporaries. Honestly, after KoA, I didn’t want to jump back into a fantasy right after I just finished this amazing series. As you can also see throughout this month, I’ve had a lot of changes done to everything. I’ve changed my photos. A lot. I’ve changed my theme. A lot. I’m having a crisis if you couldn’t tell. TITLE: Speak: The Graphic Novel AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR: Laurie Halse Anderson + Emily Carroll PUBLICATION DATE: February 6th, 2018 GENRES: Graphic Novel, Young Adult, Realistic Fiction PAGE COUNT: 374 PURCHASE: Amazon – Kindle MY RATING: 4/5 Stars SYNOPSIS: “Speak up for yourself-we want to know what you have to say.” From the first moment of her freshman year at Merryweather High, Me

This month was a good book buying month. I spent a little more than I probably should have. That’s okay. It’s good to splurge every now and then. As you can see, I went through many crises with my photos. I still don’t know how I’m going to take them. But we’ll see I guess. Synopsis: The last city on Earth is contaminated. Now blood is the only thing that can wash it clean. Julia is trapped inside the Blue as the Nobles fight over the few humans who are still alive. When the dust settles and she finds herself shackled to a new master, she knows she must escape or die. Meanwhile, Cam has gathered a handful of comrades and is on his way into the Red to rescue his queen. But not all of his friends can be trusted, and not all of them will make it back alive. The Silver Queen is the second book in Josie Jaffrey’s Sovereign trilogy, set in a dystopian Europe where vampiric Nobles control the last remnants of the human race.
