April Bookstagram Challenge

Image
This month’s challenge is hosted by @ thereaderbee  and @ lorrimagination  over on Instagram. I’m really looking forward to another month of daily posts. I find this more enjoyable than I did over on Instagram. And I’m not going to lie, I love having an excuse to post every day and to take pictures of my books. Feel free to join me with this challenge for the month of April!

March Wrap-Up These aren’t the only books I read this month. But, they were my favorites of the month!

March Book Haul I purchased more books than this in my haul for the month. I just didn’t want to have two posts because I do my hauls in a separate post. I purchased all of these books on their release dates and I didn’t do it on purpose!

Simple Cover The Obsidian series by Victoria Quinn has a very simple look throughout the entire series. The covers honestly did not draw me to this series that I finished in a week. The story line of this series is just amazing.

Blue & White I’m not going to lie, if all books were blue and white I would be extremely happy. I just love the two colors and they just look so good together. I vote we start a petition for blue and white books!

Unfinished Series I was going to put the ACOTAR series for this one. But I fought the urge and used the TOG series instead. I haven’t started this series yet. I’m not entirely sure when I will. It’ll probably when the series is complete. But it could be before then. Who knows?

Sock Sunday If you ever followed me on Instagram, you’ll know I never participated in Sock Sunday. I have a thing with showing my feet on the internet just because I know there are people out there who have a fetish for feet.  So here’s a random book for Sock Sunday that doesn’t have anything to do with socks. I picked this book up because @ emmmabooks  has said so many good things about it.  Also, look how gorgeous the cover is. Just beautiful.

Favorite Sub Genres: So, I’m not entirely sure what a sub genre is. I’m a great reader, I know. (Sarcasm) But, I want to say that I like fantasy. I can dig most of the fantasy I try to read. But, fantasy isn’t my favorite. I’m sorry but it can’t beat romance. After reading the ACOTAR series, fantasy has become high up on my list. I do plan on picking up more fantasy in the future!

New Releases These aren’t relatively new new. But they’re kinda new. I know they were released sometime within the last couple of months. I picked these up on whim when I was in Target and I honestly don’t even know if I want to read them. I’m terrible.

Book And Flowers How do I not own any false flowers? I have fake leaves. No flowers. Sooo here’s a candle that has some flowers on it.  I’ve heard many things about this book. Many great things. Why haven’t I read it yet? No idea. Do I plan to read it soon? Who knows!

Green & Blue Books (Earth Day) I’ve honestly read only two of these books >.> So far in March, I haven’t purchased that many books and I’m currently trying to get caught up on my Goodreads Challenge. I’m trying so hard!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Spring TBR

Image
As you all know, I don’t really plan TBR’s. There’s only one book I can think of for this topic. A Court Of Frost And Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. I’m sure you all knew that by now. I’m also not really in the mood to make a really long post about ten books I want to read. Today is the year anniversary of losing my grandmother and I’m spending the day with my grandpa and my aunt and I could care less about making a super long post. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Green Books You never realize how many colored books you have or don’t have until you place them together. Also, why can’t they make all books the same size? That’s a very frustrating thing.

Un-Put-Downable I hope you’re all prepared for me to never stop talking about these books. I just love them so much. I had such a hard time putting this book down and I’m really freaking sad that I have to wait until MAY to read any more of it.

Next Up I’m not 100% if None Of The Above is going to be my next read. I know that I don’t want to read a series quite yet. After reading the first three books of the ACOTAR series, I want a break from series. But I also might pick up the Shades Of Magic trilogy. I’m very indecisive right now.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Surprised Me

Image
This list was a little hard to do. Hence why I only have eight books instead of ten. Some of these surprises are good, some are bad. I’ll go into more detail with each book listed. What books surprised you? We Were Liars E. Lockhart So I’m sure I’m one of the few who really disliked this book. I was so surprised that I didn’t like it. I figured out the plot twist early in the story. I just didn’t really feel this book and it’s writing style. Even though I disliked this book, I’m pretty sure I would give E. Lockhart another chance. A Court Of Thorns And Roses Sarah J. Maas This entire series has blown me away. I always told myself that I would never read anything by Sarah J. Maas and I currently now own the majority of her books. This book took me completely by surprise. I just really adore this series. A Short History Of The Girl Next Door Jared Reck I was expecting this book to be a light fluffy read. Oh. It’s anything but. It had me in tears. I wasn’t prepared for how this book was g
