Review: The Infinite Moment Of Us by Lauren Myarcle

Image
For as long as she can remember, Wren Gray’s goal has been to please her parents. But as high school graduation nears, so does an uncomfortable realization: Pleasing her parents once overlapped with pleasing herself, but now…not so much. Wren needs to honor her own desires, but how can she if she doesn’t even know what they are? Charlie Parker, on the other hand, is painfully aware of his heart’s desire. A gentle boy with a troubled past, Charlie has loved Wren since the day he first saw her. But a girl like Wren would never fall for a guy like Charlie-at least not the sort of guy Charlie believes himself to be. And yet certain things are written in the stars. And in the summer after high school, Wren and Charlie’s souls will collide. But souls are complicated, as are the bodies that house them… Sexy, romantic, and oh-so-true to life, this is an unforgettable look at first love from one of young adult fiction’s greatest writers. Tag Tuesday: The Harry Potter Spells Tag

Image
As many of you may know already, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is out. I don’t plan on reading this book. Why? Because I’m scared it will be awful and make me dislike Harry Potter. I won’t let anything get in the way of something that has made me so happy for so many years. The idea of reading a book that’s a play doesn’t sound too intriguing either. Although, if I just happen to get it as a present, I will probably read it. I’m not entirely sure who made this tag, if you know tell me so I can give the credit!! I hope you all enjoy this tag! Let me know if you read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and let me know what you thought about it!!! The After series by Anna Todd. Great books but I kinda hate how short the chapters are. It made me feel like I wasn’t reading much even though they are decent sized books.  I’m going to do a little throwback here. Vampire Academy , I remember when I first picked it up, I don’t think I put it down until I finished it. I may try to read them

Review: The Problem With Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout

For some people, silence is a weapon. For Mallory “Mouse” Dodge, it’s a shield. Growing up, she learned that the best way to survive was to say nothing. And even though it’s been four years since her nightmare ended, she’s beginning to worry that the fear that holds her back will last a lifetime. Now, after years of homeschooling with loving adoptive parents, Mallory must face a new milestone-spending her senior year at public high school. But of all the terrifying and exhilarating scenarios she’s imagined, there’s one she never dreamed of-that she’d run into Rider Stark, the friend and protector she hasn’t seen since childhood, on her very first day. It doesn’t take long for Mallory to realize that the connection she shared with Rider never really faded. Yet the deeper their bond grows, the more it becomes apparent that she’s not the only one grappling with the lingering scars from the past. And as she watches Rider’s life spiral out of control, Mallory faces a choice between staying

Tag Tuesday: Would You Rather?

Image
Hello everyone and good morning/afternoon/day. I’m extremely exhausted and ready for Friday. I had a busy weekend and so I didn’t get to relax like I normally do. But anywho, I’m not too sure who made this tag. If you know, comment so I can put the credit!!! 1. Would you rather read only a series or a stand-alone book? I’m not too sure about this one. I love series just as much as I love stand-alones. It would just depend on my mood I guess. 2. Would you rather read a book whose main character is male or female? Since I am a girl, it’s easier for me to understand what goes through another girls mind and so I would say “female”. But I’m not against male lead characters! 3. Would you rather shop only at an actual book store or Amazon? It depends on where I can get the book cheaper. Or if there’s a good sale going on. I like to save as much money as possible when it comes to getting books. 4. Would you rather all books become movies or tv shows? Movies. They would make the shows way too l

Review: It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Synopsis: Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up-she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in his scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head, But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made that way in the first place. As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan-her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her pr

Tag Tuesday: The Ultimate Book Tag

Image
Good morning and happy Tuesday! It’s so hard to find tags! I have so many book blogs in my bookmarks and I can’t ever seem to find a tag to do! I chose this one because there are no pictures involved and I’m on a time frame. I normally do these on Sunday and post them on Tuesday but Pokemon Go has taken over everything. Also, It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover is wrecking my emotional life. So let’s get this thing started, shall we? 1. Do you get sick while reading in the car? Cars, yes. The local bus, no. I’m not sure why there’s a difference but I feel much safer reading in a bus than I do a small car. I feel like I can let my guard down on a bus and not a car. I don’t know. 2. Which author’s writing style is completely unique to you and why? Colleen Hoover. I’m pretty biased when it comes to her. Her books are the only ones that have actually touched my soul and made me think (really hard) about life and why things happen the way the do. 3. Harry Potter or Twilight? 100% Harry Potte

Synopsis: “Life taught me an eternal love will demand the worst sacrifices. A transcendent love will split your soul, cleaving you into pieces. He gave me his heart, his empire, his ruthless unforgiving love. And life finally left us in peace. A man like my maitre has special needs though, growing stronger as our lives intertwine. The only way to survive his monster is to agree to all his desires. Including his latest wish. I’m his. And I won’t refuse. Purchase: Amazon ~ Kindle Started: 08/04/2016 Finished: 08/06/2016 My Review: BEWARE SPOILERS AHEAD! This book is not suitable to those who do not find thrills in dark romance. This book is not for the kindhearted. This book was a great ending to the Monsters In The Dark series. Although, I’m hoping there is more of Q and Tessa in the future… fingers crossed. Q finds that he n

TAG TUESDAY: This Is Acting

Image
So this is my first attempt at making a book tag! I’ve searched and searched for tags that haven’t been done, music-wise. I’m not 100% sure that This Is Acting hasn’t been done but I’m hoping it hasn’t just so I don’t look like I stole the idea from someone. If you want, you can tag other people to do this too! The more the merrier!! Also, if you want to follow my blog, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom and press the follow button!!!! Bird Set Free There’s a scream inside that we all try to hide 1. Name a book(s) that just made you want to scream. There are quite a few that I’ve wanted to scream as loud as I possibly could. Ugly Love, After, Monsters In The Dark and many more.  Alive I wore envy and I hated that 2. A book you purchased because of the cover and hated the book. I have yet to actually read it yet, but I did try. Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll. I tried really hard to get into that book. I can’t tell if it was because I was having a book hangover or not. We

Dollar Tree Haul:

Image
We were out playing Pokemon Go and decided to stop in Dollar Tree to see if they had anything good. Low and behold, they had a bunch of cute stuff! The best thing about this store is that everything is a dollar! I only found one book there that was worth buying. Although, for a dollar you can’t go wrong even if the book turns out terrible. I got some cute paperclips in the shape of hearts and bows. I saw them and knew they would look super cute in pictures. I found an eraser that’s a doughnut. A FREAKING DOUGHNUT! We also found some sticky notes with the days of the week on them. I figured it could bring some color into my pictures. I also managed to find three notebooks that are super adorable. The Dollar Tree is such an amazing place to shop if you love to thrift shop. I try to go there at least once a month to see what is new 🙂 Title: Brave New Love: 15 Dystopian Tales of Desire Authors: Jeanne DuPrau, William Sleator, Carrie Ryan, Diana Peterfreund, Carrie Vaughn, Elizabeth Bear,
