Why I Got Ride Of 300+ Books

Image
While I was on my staycation, I decided to do a huge unhaul. I was slowly trying to get rid of books using PangoBooks . I just wasn't selling books as fast as I wanted to get rid of them. I still highly recommend using PangoBooks if you're looking to sell because they make it so easy! Before my unhaul, I had close to 1,000 unread books on my tbr. I now have about 650ish. I think that's enough reason to get rid of so many books 😂 A good chunk of the books I got rid of were young adult contemporaries, which I do not read anymore. Another good chunk was fantasy books. I'm pickier about the fantasy books that I read now. I'm not going to pick up just any fantasy book because I see that it's hyped. I just know that that's not my favorite genre and I'm not going to keep pretending like it is. These books were honestly sitting on my shelves just gathering all the dust. I had books on my shelves that I haven't read and they have been sitting there since a

Exodus by Kate Stewart

About The Book Title: Exodus Series: The Ravenhood #2 Author: Kate Stewart Genre: Romance Page Count: 450 Rating: ★★ Synopsis: Can you live a lie? It’s a ghost town, this place that haunts me, the one that made me. It’s clear to me that I’ll never outgrow Triple Falls or outlive the time I spent here. I can still feel them all, my boys of summer. Even when I’d sensed the danger, I gave in. I didn’t heed a single warning. I let my sickness, my love, both rule and ruin me. I played my part, eyes wide open, tempting fate until it delivered. There was never going to be an escape. All of us are to blame for what happened. All of us serving our own sentences. We were careless and reckless, thinking our youth made us indestructible, exempt from our sins, and it cost us all. I’m done pretending I didn’t leave the largest part of me between these hills and valleys, between the sea of trees that hold my secrets. It’s the reason I’m back. To make peace with my fate. And if I can’t grieve eno

What's On My NetGalley TBR?

Image
I'm going to start this off by saying that I try not to request a lot on NetGalley. I know my limits and I know when I will or will not get a review done in time for its release. At the time of writing this post, I only have five books I need to read and review. My current feedback ratio is 17%... I need to work on this asap! Lucy Checks In by Dee Ernst: I honestly couldn't tell you why I requested this one. It's not on my immediate tbr because I don't think I want to read it anymore... I will still read it though. Don't want to mess up my already bad ratio 🤣 (08.30.22) The Obsidian Butterfly by Lani Forbes: I'm honestly thinking about getting the audiobook for this and letting it be my next audiobook read. It's been out for a month now. I'm slacking. I'll get it read soon though! (03.21.22) Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner: I had to request this one. I feel like I'm going to love it so much. I enjoyed her debut novel and I'm hoping

Waiting On Wednesday: Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner

Image
Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine where we highlight some of the upcoming books we can’t wait to read! Mistakes Were Made is Meryl Wilsner's second book. I read Something To Talk About last year and I liked it... it was just missing something. There was only one steamy scene close to the end of the book and that was it. It was good for a debut novel! I have a feeling I'm going to love this book.  I did get approved for an e-arc on NetGalley so I don't have to wait for it!! I'm pretty sure this is an age gap romance so that makes me even more excited. Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner Expected Publication Date: October 11th, 2022 When Cassie Klein goes to an off-campus bar to escape her school’s Family Weekend, she isn’t looking for a hookup—it just happens. Buying a drink for a stranger turns into what should be an uncomplicated, amazing one-night stand. But then the next morning rolls around and her friend drags her along to meet
