Mid Year Freak Out Book Tag

Image
OMG, how are we already halfway through 2018?? All I know is, Christmas is halfway here and I’m too excited to decorate again. I need my tree back in my living room! I feel like all I do is work and sleep these days. Although, I’m still ahead on my Goodreads challenge and I’m hoping to keep it that way. Maybe this will be the first year I actually complete a reading challenge. This year has really been amazing so far. I went to Disney for the first time. I really went when I was like three, but I don’t remember it so I don’t count it. I got my first ever PAID vacation. I got a brand new car that I’m making payments on. Everything has really started to look up for us this year. Even better than last year. I’m hoping the rest of the year gets even better for every single one of us! Now, onto the topics! Best Book You’ve Read This Year: So, I was really obsessed with this book. It’s all I would think about after reading it. Now, that I’ve had some time away from the series I’m feeling wit

WWW Wednesday 6/27/18

WWW Wednesday is a book blog meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words where bloggers answer three questions: What are you currently reading? What did you just finish reading? What are you reading next? Just Finished: The last book I finished was on Monday night. Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas was such a spectacular book. It was so intense and mysterious, I couldn’t put it down. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I will definitely be purchasing more of her books in the future. Before that, I finished One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands. I gave it at 3/5 stars. Her books aren’t as good as I remembered them to be. I used to give them all five stars. Maybe my critical reading has gotten better?   Currently Reading: What I Lost by Abigail Ballard. I had to go outside my normal way of choosing what book I read next just so I can read this one ASAP. So far, I’m kind of enjoying it. I’m about 70 pages in and it’s okay. What are you currently reading? What did you just finish reading? What are you r

Top Ten Tuesday: Summer TBR

Image
The original topic for this week is: Series I’ve Given Up On/Don’t Plan To Finish. Currently, I have either finished all the series I’ve started or still plan to finish them. I hate giving up on series, I have to finish it until the very end! I don’t normally do TBR’s because I let a randomizer choose what I’m going to read. So I’m going to list ten books that I want to read and hope they get chosen in my app! I only chose three because I’m kind of in a time crunch and I gotta get going! Bad Romance by Heather Demetrios I just purchased this book through Book Outlet. I’m absolutely dying to read it now. I don’t know if it’s because of it’s gorgeous cover or if it’s because the book itself just sounds freaking amazing. I’m almost tempted to skip the randomizer for this one and just read it. Here’s to hoping I get to read this book this summer! The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas We all know that this movie is coming out really soon. I really want to read this book before the movie comes out

Book Review: Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

Image
Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas Synopsis: Spring break. Aruba. Swimming, sunshine, and drinks. Lots of drinks. It’s supposed to be the best time of Anna’s life. Perfect. But then Anna’s best friend is found brutally murdered. And as the local police begin to investigate the gruesome crime, suspicion and evidence unfathomably point to one person – Anna. Now trapped in a country not her own, Anna must fight for her freedom and prove her innocence. But as she awaits the judge’s decision, it becomes clear to Anna that everyone around her thinks she is not only guilty, but dangerous. Very dangerous. And when the truth finally comes out, it’s more shocking than anyone could have ever imagined….. My Review:  I purchased this book on a whim from Book Outlet. I honestly wasn’t that interested in this book. I’m not a big fan of mystery-court room books. But this one? I’m obsessed. I never wanted to put this book down. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone talk about this book. Or maybe I’m just late be
