September '22 Wrap Up

Image
This may have been the best reading month I've had all year. I'm a firm believer it's because I got rid of the toxic job that was making me unhappy in almost every aspect of my life. I wish that I could have reading months like this every month. I definitely read a variety this month. Although, it was mostly romance. I will say that I rated the majority of these books high!  What books did you read in September? *each link will take you to my review of the book* Lucy Checks In by Dee Ernst: I enjoyed this one enough. If you like contemporary books where the main character is a little bit older, you should love this one! ⭐⭐⭐ The Fixer Upper by Lauren Forsythe: I really liked this one. I loved the idea of it and I think it was executed quite well. My only complaint is that there wasn't much romance in this book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ To Love Jason Thorn by Ella Maise: omg. I adore this book. I loved everything about it. Don't let the illustrated cover fool you, this book is stea

Typographic Book Covers!

Image
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl . This week's topic is to talk about books that have typographic book covers! Meaning, book covers that have a design that is mostly words or is just words.  I'm not going to go into much detail about the books because I'm honestly just going to go through a list of all the books I own, both physically and digitally. I have a " virtual bookshelf " where I keep track of all the books I own and read.  Basically, I may or may not have read some of the books on this list. I'm also going to include books that the font is the most attractive part of the cover to me. It's what caught my eyes first. Be Not Far From Me by Mindy McGinnis Fool Me Once by Ashley Winstead The Four Leaf by Lee Jacquot If There's No Tomorrow by Jennifer L. Armentrout Love Blind by Christa Desir & Jolene Perry Red Hood by Elana K. Arnold Restore Me by J.L Seegars Such A Fun Age

Image
Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm bringing you the Fairyloot September unboxing. I honestly didn't know anything about this box before it came and I think I'm going to continue to do that from now on. It's more of a surprise when I don't know what's coming. Whether it's the book or the items. I don't want to be spoiled for anything anymore. I don't even want to know the theme for the box. I just really enjoy getting a box randomly in the mail with surprises inside 😂. Botanic Coasters design by @ stellabookishart I literally was just talking with my husband about getting more coasters 😂. These came at the perfect time! I think these are gorgeous and I love them. They are beautiful and I love the artwork on them. These are from the book Belladonna . (also, my floor is a mess. We have a lot of things to donate.) Cardan Trinket Dish design by @ arz28 Another flipping trinket dish. I'm honestly not a huge fan of these trinket dishes. Al
