Top Five Tuesday: Top 5 Books With Magic

Happy Birthday to me! Today I am celebrating my 25th year of life. I was very kindly given the day off. I thought I was going to be able to spend my day reading Kingdom of Ash, but that unfortunately isn’t happening until maybe later this week.

With that being said, my progress with Tower of Dawn isn’t going so well. I really cannot get into this book! I hate Chaol so much! I’m going to try and power through most of it today. I’m about 41% through it right now. Maybe I can finish by the time I’m able to buy KoA.

Let’s just hop right into the top five books with magic before I keep on typing and run out of reading time.

1. HARRY POTTER BY J.K. ROWLING
Is any list with the word magic in it complete without Harry Potter? This is a series that I’m planning to do a reread of really soon. I’ve been missing this wonderful world and I can’t wait to sink my toes back into it.

2. QUEEN OF SHADOWS BY SARAH J. MAAS
I knew I had to include at least one of these books in this list. I’m too excited to see where this series ends up going. I started reading it earlier this year and I’m happy to say that I get to read the entire series in less than one year. I feel for those who had to wait for the releases.

3. THE WICKED DEEP BY SHEA ERNSHAW
I read this book earlier this year and I really enjoyed my time reading it. It’s definitely a good starter book for books about witches. It’s really my first one since Harry Potter!

4. THREE DARK CROWNS BY KENDARE BLAKE
This book definitely has magical elements. You don’t necessarily see a lot of it in this book though. It was a bit plain and didn’t go into detail but I’m hoping the future books really delve into the magic.

5. AN ENCHANTMENT OF RAVENS BY MARGARET ROGERSON
I really enjoyed this short fantasy. It held so much magic, even for being about 300 pages long. This book is definitely an amazing read! I really loved how unique this books was.
