My Favorite Romance Reads of 2021

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is to talk about our favorite reads of the year. I changed it up a bit because I wanted to talk about my favorite romances of the year.

2021 has been the year of romance books for me. The majority of the books I read were from the romance genre. Words cannot express how happy that makes me. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about why I loved the books. I'll do a couple of sentences. I'm just trying to not get burned out from blogging again.

Basically, I'm going to paste whatever short review I wrote in Goodreads on here and have a laugh at it. I'm shocked that three Tessa Bailey books ended up on this list!

When Sparks Fly by Helena Hunting: I simply adored this book. Declan was just the sweetest and did everything he could to take care of Avery. I literally read this book in less than 24 hours. I was completely addicted to it and never wanted to put it down. Helena Hunting is magnificent!

The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang: this book deserves a million stars.

Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey: This book was unexpectedly dirty. I did not mind one bit.

Hook, Line, And Sinker by Tessa Bailey: Dare I say, this was better than It Happened One Summer. As much as I loved the Schitt's Creek inspiration, I loved Hannah and Fox's story so much more. I love Fox so much more than Brendan. I'm sorry, I can't help it.

How To Fail At Flirting by Denise Williams: I loved this debut novel so much. Denise Williams is now an auto-buy author!

The Roommate by Rosie Danan: A book about a porn star? Sign me up. I was trash for this book the moment I bought it.

Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert: This was my favorite book in the Brown Sisters trilogy. And it was mostly because of the scene with Eve's purple friend.

A Court Of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas: Yes, I'm considering this romance. I loved it. I was trash for it. Cassian is better than Rhysand. Sorry, not sorry.

Love Her Or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey: I don't think Tessa Bailey can do any wrong. She's perfect. Her books are perfect.

Fable Of Happiness by Pepper Winters: The queen of dark romance. This book had to make it on my list of favorite romances. I loved this one so much. It's not my favorite of hers, but definitely not one to forget.

What were your favorite reads of 2021?
