Folklore Book Tag!

Creator: @ Whisper Of Ink

Guys, I'm in love. I'm not going to lie, I was kind of disappointed with the Lover album. It's alright, but definitely far from my favorite. Folklore beat Reputation and 1989. This album is beautiful. This album is giving me life. I'm still in the process of absorbing this album...

I didn't get tagged to do this post, but I will tag some friends! Nikki and Courtney. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want to bother people. I also made my own graphics for this tag. I just wanted this post to vibe with this album. You are free to use what I've created for this tag, just please give credit as it did take like four hours to do this post...

Let me know in the comments below what your favorite song is off Folklore. Mine 100% is betty. I freaking adore this song!

House Of Earth And Blood

This entire book made me speechless. Not just the ending. If you've read this book, you'll know which parts really left me speechless. I'm still broken by this book. Sarah did certain characters dirty and I don't think I can forgive her. But, I can't wait to reread this book in preparation for the second book. "Through love, all is possible."

Kingdom Of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

I was very lucky to start reading this series right before the last book was released. I swore I was never going to read any of Sarah’s books because I thought they were too hyped. This book was my favorite in the Throne Of Glass series. I’m happy with how this story ended, but this behemoth broke my heart a few times. “I am here, I am with you.”

The Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

The Priory is such a beautiful read. Don’t let it’s size intimidate you, it’s honestly not that long. Samantha’s storytelling is amazing. This world she has created is fascinating. I do plan on doing a reread eventually, I want to annotate the crap out of this book! “No woman should be made to fear that she was not enough.”

Chasing Red by Isabelle Ronin

I honestly really hate this book. I read this one and it’s sequel, Always Red. It was so terrible. I will never ever ever pick up anything by this author again. I do not recommend anyone to read this as they are so juvenile and stupid it will probably melt your brain.

House Of Earth And Blood by Sarah J. Maas

If you’ve read this book, you know. I’m trying to not use the same book multiple times. Unfortunately, this is the only book where I completely lost my shit and sobbed until my nose was dripping. “Then let the world know that my first act of freedom was to help my friends.”

More Than Words by Jill Santopolo

This book hit me in places I didn’t know it was going to. I went into this book completely blind and I’m glad I did. This book was a pleasant surprise. I loved every minute of it. “Grief felt like it mixed up her brain and her heart, put them back in the wrong places. She wasn’t sure how she’s set that right ever again.”

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone by Unknown Author

I really didn’t want to end up using any Harry Potter books on this list. Unfortunately, these are the only childhood books I can remember reading and enjoying. I will not share any links for anyone to purchase this book because I do not think anyone should put any more money in that person’s pocket.

Say You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker

This book takes place during current day and also in the past while the two love interests are at summer camp. I love this book so much. I had a fantastic time reading it. It also made me cry. “You remembered.” “Of course I did. I remembered everything.”

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

This book is beautiful. It deals with serious topics like death and loneliness. It’s a very short read and I recommend everyone to pick it up. “You do not write your life with words…You write it with actions. What you think is not important. It is only important what you do.”

The Girl And The Stars by Mark Lawrence

I’m actually currently reading this book. To be honest? I’m not enjoying it. I have no idea what’s going on. I’m gonna DNF it today. Maybe my brain is too scattered right now to read a fantasy…

Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines

I read this book right after my grandma passed away in 2017. It will always be one of my top books because of the timing of me reading it. It’s such a beautiful book. “Pain comes to all of us some time or another. Its how we learn to cope with it that determine our future.”

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

I absolutely adore Lily in It Ends With Us. She’s so kindhearted. She goes through so much in her life and she’s still a doll. I love her. “There is no such thing as bad people. We’re all just people who sometimes do bad things.”

(I honestly didn't do this one in my original post and I can't think of a book for this topic)

Wish You Were Here by Renee Carlino

Charlotte and Adam. I was dying to get more of them together. This book killed my emotions. Just killed all of them. “Different people connect to different parts of our souls.”

House Of Earth And Blood by Sarah J. Maas

Lehabah. She’s a doll. She’s precious. I love her. I cannot say more…

Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan

I felt like this book bored me to death. I’m not trying to be mean, I just didn’t enjoy this book at all….
