Hazel Camille Bradford knows she’s a lot to take—and frankly, most men aren’t up to the challenge. If her army of pets and thrill for the absurd don’t send them running, her lack of filter means she’ll say exactly the wrong thing in a delicate moment. Their loss. She’s a good soul in search of honest fun.

Josh Im has known Hazel since college, where her zany playfulness proved completely incompatible with his mellow restraint. From the first night they met—when she gracelessly threw up on his shoes—to when she sent him an unintelligible email while in a post-surgical haze, Josh has always thought of Hazel more as a spectacle than a peer. But now, ten years later, after a cheating girlfriend has turned his life upside down, going out with Hazel is a breath of fresh air.

Not that Josh and Hazel date. At least, not each other. Because setting each other up on progressively terrible double blind dates means there’s nothing between them...right?

Christina Lauren have to be two of my favorite romance authors. I absolutely adore everything they release. Josh and Hazel's story holds no exception! Five stars all around this book. Hazel is such a fun character and Josh is so amazing, he loves her just the way she is. I loved seeing them being best friends to something more. I loved seeing them come to terms with their feelings.

I think this may be one of my favorite Christina Lauren book. It's because of that trope at the end that a lot of people don't like, but I love it. The chemistry of Josh and Hazel really made this book pop for me. I'm glad that Josh loves Hazel for Hazel. I'm so glad that he didn't try and change anything about her.

This book was adorable and steamy. I think, out of the CL books I've read, this had the most steam. I was living for it! I love that their romance is slow-burn. My only complaint is that it ended pretty quickly 😪

Even with that quick ending, this book deserves five stars! Can't wait to read the next Christina Lauren book.
