Royally Matched by Emma Chase

About The Book
Title: Royally Matched
Series: Royally #2
Author: Emma Chase
Genre: Romance
Pages: 264
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Synopsis:

Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor.

But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.

As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

My Review

This book was soo close to being a five-star read! So close. Emma Chase did something that I kinda hate in books. I don't even know why I hate this... she added an epilogue at the ending and added some much-unneeded stories. I didn't need to know all that. I also kinda wish that she didn't include the army stuff at the end.

I love the story of Royally Matched. I thought it was fun! I'm not going to lie though, I hate all things Bachelor-related. I was shocked to find that I enjoyed this story of Prince Henry on a television show to find his Queen.

The main reason I loved this book was Sarah. I adore her. She's so flipping cute and shy. I think she's the perfect match for Henry. They compliment each other very well. He's very outgoing and he tries to change himself to fit with that quiet, shy girl.

Sarah, of course, works on her shyness as well. Knowing she's falling for someone who's going to be in the public eye all the time. I loved watching her coming out of her shell. She finds herself throughout this book.

Also, it broke my heart when Henry accidentally broke her book. I was just in tears over that part!

As much as I loved reading this book and I remember loving Royally Screwed, I don't think I'm going to continue on with this series. I just feel like there's only so much you can do without it feeling repetitive.
