New Authors I Read In 2020!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where book bloggers are invited to share their top lists centered on a certain topic.

This week’s topic is focused on authors that you read in 2020 that are new to you! I read from so many new-to-me authors last year. I can’t wait to get further into this discussion.

I do want to say that I canceled my giveaway. I accidentally deleted the Rafflecopter giveaway somehow. All the entries are gone. I will be remaking that post either today or tomorrow. Please be on the lookout for that and I’m sorry to those who have to reenter.

Let’s get into the new-to-me authors!

Erin Morgenstern:
Honestly, I love her writing. I do. Unfortunately, I don’t like The Night Circus. I thought this book was boring. It’s kind of put me off trying to read The Starless Sea. I may still give it a try and if I don’t like it, I’ll know that author isn’t for me.

K.A. Tucker:
I read Say You Still Love Me early in 2020 and for some reason, I never picked up another book by Tucker. I really loved that book. It made me cry. I definitely have to read more from her this year!

Amelie Wen Zhao:
I actually just got approved for Red Tigress on Netgalley and I’m so stoked. I loved Blood Heir so much. I can’t wait to read more from her!

Sierra Simone:
I’m not gonna lie, I was kind of iffy about going into A Lesson In Thorns. But for some reason, I ended up really loving it? Sierra seems like she writes majorly taboo books and I’m living for it!

Claire LeGrand:
Here is another author I am not a fan of. She is an author that I will not read from again. I didn’t appreciate the extreme man-hating in Sawkill Girls whatsoever.

Jenna Moreci:
I honestly wasn’t expecting to like The Savior’s Champion. I had a fun time reading this book and at times I found it hard to put the book down. I’m ready to pick up The Savior’s Sister once I get around to buying it!

Sarah Hogle:
I know she’s a debut author and she may be on a lot of lists today. Unfortunately, I didn’t love You Deserve Each Other. I think her next book is going to be fantastic though!

Shelby Mahurin:
She has become an auto-buy author for me. I fell in love with Serpent & Dove and Blood & Honey. I can’t wait to see how this trilogy is going to end up!

Talia Hibbert:
OMG. I don’t know how I never picked up anything by Talia before this year. Her books are perfect and smutty. I cannot wait to read more from her this year!

Tell me about some authors that you read in 2020 that are new to you!
