I took another unexpected break from blogging. Life got a bit stressful and I needed time away. I'm just trying to get everything back on track.
What books were too good for you to review properly?
House Of Earth And Blood by Sarah J. Maas: This is still my favorite book to this day. I'm not sure what my review says about this book but after I finished it... I was broken. It broke me, even more, the second time around.
Reminders Of Him by Colleen Hoover: I didn't even review this book. It got five stars from me. I just greatly appreciated this book.
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig: This book was just beautiful. I know I wrote a review about it but I guarantee that that review isn't good.
Verity by Colleen Hoover: The only words in my head after I finished this book was "what the fuck".
The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang: I was sad after finishing this book. I didn't write a review for it. I couldn't find words to describe what this book did to me.
Tears Of Tess by Pepper Winters: I read this book years ago and I loved it so much. It introduced me to dark romance. I still think about this story to this day!
Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey: This book took me by surprise. All I had to say was "This book was unexpectedly dirty. I did not mind one bit."
The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab: The writing of this book was just phenomenal. I still can't review it.
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo: I really loved this book! I'm still kind of aggravated that we haven't gotten a second book yet.
Kingdom Of Ash by Sarah J. Maas: I loved this book. It was such a great ending. I need to reread this series asap.
I loved Ninth House! Isn't the sequel coming out this year? These are the books I found almost too good to review properly!
ReplyDeleteI looked on Goodreads and I didn't see a release date for it yet :(
DeleteI feel like it's not that I don't have ANY words to describe a book, I just don't have the RIGHT ones, you know?? Especially when I really loved the book. It can be really tough to accurately describe why!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I've read a few of these and did review them all, the hardest one was definitely Addie, because it was such an unusual book!

Hoover's books are almost always impossible to review properly. It's so hard to talk about them without spoilers. The Heart Principle is at the top of my tbr. And Bardugo made my list this week, as well, but I haven't read The Ninth House yet.
