I am making this post on Saturday instead of Sunday. I do have to work a double on Sunday which will be my LAST double at my current job. Why? Because your girl landed a new job working 9-5 Monday through Friday! This was the exciting thing I was kinda talking about in my last weekly recap. My entire schedule is going to be changing in a couple of weeks. I’m no longer going to have that time before work to blog. I will have to figure it out as I go.



I did cancel my giveaway for the time being. I have to wait until my background check comes back and with Covid, that means it can take a bit longer than normal. Which means I may be not “working” for like a week. Which is fine, it just means money is going to be a bit tight for a minute.



This job is going to be perfect for me and my family. I cannot wait to start this new journey. I have been looking for this kind of job for the longest time.

New Books This Week


Lore by Alexandra Bracken. I finally got my January Fairyloot box! They did such an amazing job on this book. It is absolutely gorgeous! I have never read a book by Alexandra before so I’m pretty excited to see if I like her writing.

What I Read This Week



🎧 Shipped by Angie Hockman. I really love this book. It’s so freaking good. There isn’t anything about this book that I didn’t like. Well, the way Henley is treated in her workplace. BUT, other than that, this book is perfect! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Currently Reading


📖 A Vow So Bold And Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer. I’m honestly probably going to finish this book today. I’m really enjoying this book. Although, it seems like everything is going to be wrapped up quickly because I’m almost done with this book and the final battle hasn’t happened yet. (83%)



🎧 House Of Salt And Sorrows by Erin A. Craig. I haven’t technically started this book yet. I know I will start it at some point today while I’m cleaning. My randomizer app picked this book for me and I’m excited to see what this book is about! (0%)

Happenings Away From The Blog Hello and welcome back to my blog! I decided to start blogging again last week. I’m currently still going strong. By that, I mean I haven’t wanted to quit yet. I’m beginning to realize that going to WordPress is what makes me hate blogging. I’m not going back there again. In the coming weeks, I may not be blogging as much though. We’re in the process of moving so my spare time is either spent cleaning or packing. We haven’t moved since 2012 and I’m extremely nervous about this move. I’m also extremely annoyed that I have so many books to pack. As much as I love my books, I never thought I would ever have to move them. Books On My Fall TBR!
