Review

Sea Witch is a "Little Mermaid" retelling. I would say it's more of a villain tale. It's more about how to sea witch came to be.

In this retelling, the little mermaid isn't as innocent as you would think she is. She's conniving. She wants revenge for something that she's misunderstood.

Unfortunately, this book is extremely slow. The last two-three chapters is where all the action happens. This is why I'm only giving this book three stars. I wanted more action. I wanted.... more. I feel like this book was a 368 page set up for the next book.

I loved the two main characters. Evie and Annemette. I love watching them become close friends. I just really enjoyed that friendship. Even though it is short. I'm hoping we get more story about Evie and I hope she gets a happy ending.
