Weekly Wrap-Up: 09/24 - 09/30

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great last week of September! This month flew by so quickly. With that being said, October is my birthday month. I’m very fortunate that a new release that I’m looking forward to comes out on my birthday! I’m not even excited for my actual birthday, just the book. Cannot wait to get Kingdom of Ash in my hands!

I wasn’t very active this week when it comes to the blog and reading. But that’s okay. Sometimes life gets busy and you have to take the time away from reading in order to do adult things. Sigh.

Away From The Blog:

This week was a pretty busy week. I had to take Marcel to his four year check up. That alone was stressful and heartbreaking enough to make me not want to do anything for the rest of the week. It sucks that they have to get shots but it’s better than getting a disease. He milked it all week, still currently milking it. He knows how to make mamma hurt.

Also, Julian got his license this week! I just got mine last year. We’re both moving on up! Driving is something that I’ve never wanted to do and I waited until I was twenty-three to get my license. Julian always had an anxiety towards driving and he’s overcome that. I’m so proud of him!

On Saturday, while driving home from the library, we saw that the neighboring church has their pumpkin patch ready. So, of course, I had to do a little photoshoot of my boog. You can see all the pictures here.

I also got obsessed with a new song this week. Avril Lavigne has always been my favorite singer. I feel like she will be for my entire life. She released a new song this week and I’m living for it. It’s a song I could have used when I was going through the pain of losing my grandma. Here’s the song if you want to give it a listen:

This Week I Read:

Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau: I really enjoyed this book. It gave me everything that Three Dark Crowns didn’t. I definitely recommend!
Currently Reading:

Goodbye Days by: Jeff Zentner: I’m so glad that my randomizer chose this! I wasn’t exactly sure what it was about until I added it to my TBR list. It sounds like heartbreaking read.
Books Bought This Week:
The Kiss Of Deception by Mary E. Pearson: I didn’t buy this book. I actually got it for free from the VeryDice app. You can dowload the app and use my friend code: 417921 They have all kinds of stuff on that app, basically anything on Amazon. Anyway, I decided to get this book because apparently you should read this series before reading Dance of Thieves. I wish I would have known that before I saw that beautiful book in Books A Million.
Posts From The Week:
