Synopsis:

People call me many things: CEO, billionaire, bastard. Q.

I love women. I love sex. I love money. I love hot, wild nights with no promise of a future, because a future is one thing I don’t have. I’m twenty-eight years old. I won’t live to see thirty, and I don’t care. Or I didn’t, until her.

Nobody plans for a life like this. Some of us just end up here.

They call me Lucky, though luck has never been on my side. Before I met Q, my life was a big, twisted mess. Never enough money, never anyone to trust. No way out. With Q, the shame and fear disappear. Instead I feel pure pleasure, and that’s something I’ve never had before. But if what I’ve just learned is true, we’d better enjoy every second together while we can…before our time runs out.

Beware Of Spoilers!

Overall Rating: 3/5 Stars

I just want to start off and say that I’m glad this book got a cover change and a name change. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t pick up a book named Porn Star. It wouldn’t not have sounded appealing at all. And I’m also not a big fan of buff men on covers either.
Beautiful Liar follows our main character Lucky, who is in a situation and will do anything to get out of the situation. Enter in Q. Q is offering up a million dollars… for sex on camera. Lucky also meets Quinn. A beautiful billionaire with an attitude.
Everything gets complicated and people are not who they seem to be.
I really enjoyed this book. I thought I was going to be uncomfortable with the idea of the cameras being involved in the sex scenes, but I honestly was okay with it.
The only thing I didn’t care for was that Quinn and Fionella used Quinn’s well-being to bring her back to him. Using suicide to get someone to be with you is never okay.
I really enjoyed this book. I’m not entirely sure if I will continue with the series or not. But if I do, I know I will highly enjoy the next book!

Plot Rating: 4/5 Stars

I can safely say that I’ve never read a book like this one before. The ending was amazing. I loved how Quinn’s plan worked out almost exactly how he wanted it to. I just love the justice.
I think this book was very well written. It sucked me in from the beginning. I love how it started out with Quinn interviewing different girls to do his job. It was very unique.
I wish the climax lasted a bit longer. Everything happened so quickly and ended just as quickly. Like how did she escape Clay so fast? I know how but I didn’t like it.

Character Rating: 3/5 Stars

I love Lucky. She’s a genuine character who puts others before herself. She’s just a bit dense. I would have figured out that Q and Quinn were the same person way before she did. She couldn’t even tell after she had sex with “both” of them. Come on, you’re smarter than that girl!
I like Quinn. He’s alright. I just think he’s a toxic person that doesn’t deserve Elly. He really did her wrong and I don’t think I can forgive him for it.

Romance Rating: 3/5 Stars

I am not a big fan of Elly’s and Quinn’s relationship. I liked it while she was working with Q. He was sweet and actually seemed to care for her. I just really feel like he’s toxic for her. He needs to try again when his head is on right.
But as for the sexy scenes? I loved them! They were so steamy! Well written and not super crazy.
