This book follows Annie who is an architect. She’s in love with her job and doesn’t really have much room for anything else in her life. That includes men. Well, until she meets Jack at a bar one night. They hit it off and end up in a hotel room by the end of the night.
Little does Annie know, Jack is forbidden. She later learns that he’s a married man. Meeting his wife was a great slap to the face because she just couldn’t shake Jack and she wanted him.
This story is about how two people fall in love when they know they shouldn’t. I know it’s a book that’s going to receive at lot of hate because of the infidelity. I am not saying what they’re doing is okay, because it’s never okay to cheat on your spouse. But if I was married to Stephanie, I would have probably done the same thing.
I don’t want to give anything else away because this book is intense! I was literally on the edge of my seat with this one!
I need more Jack and Annie in my life. Please tell me there will be more!!!!!!!!
