My Year In Books: 2016

I cannot believe how fast this year came and went. It’s completely insane. I didn’t reach my book goal, I was literally like twelve books short. I’m disappointed in myself for that one.

I got this from Spines And Covers. I just thought it would be nice to do something like this for the end of the year.

Number of books read in 2016:

I read 58 books. My goal was 70. Next year, I’ll be sure to reach my goal!!!

Best book of 2016:

Ugh, how dare this question even be asked. If I had to choose, it would be Monsters in the Dark by Pepper Winters. That’s technically three books, but it’s all in one. I’m choosing this book because it introduced me to a whole new kind of romance. I fell in love with it instantly.

Number of pages I read in total:

According to Goodreads, 20,704 pages.

Average page length:

Wild guess, 400?

Shortest book:

Probably Bodyguard by Jessica Linden. 140 pages

Longest book:

The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy by Jenny Han. 896 pages

Worst book:

Whisper To Me by Nick Lake. I didn’t even want to finish it, but I forced myself to.

Most painful book:

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. You know why if you read it.

Funniest Book:

I didn’t really read anything that I thought was funny…

Best Writing:

Pepper Winters and Colleen Hoover.

All the feels:

The Way I Used To Be by Amber Smith. This book had me so emotional

Best Cover:

Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks. This is just based on the books I have.
