TAG TUESDAY: The Book Sacrifice Tag

I haven’t done one of these in a long time. I decided to bring it back, just to make my blog a bit more active. It’s going to be hard to find tags though. Be sure to help me out there!!

1. An Over-Hyped Book: Let’s start this off with a Zombie Apocalypse! Let’s say you’re in a book store, just browsing, when BAM! ZOMBIE ATTACK! An announcement comes over the PA System saying that the military has discovered that the zombies’ only weakness is over-hyped books. What book that everyone else says is amazing but you really hated so you start chucking at the zombies know that it will count as an over-hyped book and successfully wipe them out?

I couldn’t even get through the first few pages of this book. I feel like the synopsis is great and all, just not my cup of tea. I’m sorry Han Kang, but I will save mankind from zombies with your book. I hope you will forgive me.

2. A Sequel: Let’s say you’ve just left the salon with a SMASHING new haircut and BOOM: Torrential downpour. What sequel are you willing to use as an umbrella to protect yourself?

Grey. This book didn’t really need to be written, did it? It was a pointless read and I feel like she just wanted to make more money with the series. I will not apologize for this.

3. A Classic: Let’s say you’re in a lecture and your English teacher is going on and on about how this classic changed the world, how it revolutionized literature and you get so sick of it that you chuck the classic right at his/her face because you know what? This classic is stupid and it’s worth detention just to show everyone how you feel! What Classic did you chuck?

Of Mice And Men. It wasn’t a bad book by any means. I just did not care for it one bit. It was painful to read and I haven’t touched the book since.

4. Your Least Favorite Book of Life: Let’s just say that you’re hanging out at the library when BAM global warming explodes and the world outside becomes a frozen wasteland. You’re trapped and your only chance for survival is to burn a book. What is the book you first run to, your least favorite book of all life, what book do you not fully regret lighting?

The answer to this question is quite obvious for me. Twilight. I have lit this book on fire before and I will do it again to keep myself alive.
