Then…
Annabelle’s life wasn’t perfect, but it was full—full of friends, family, love. And a boy…whose attention Annabelle found flattering and unsettling all at once.

Until that attention intensified.

Now…
Annabelle is running. Running from the pain and the tragedy from the past year. With only Grandpa Ed and the journal she fills with words she can’t speak out loud, Annabelle runs from Seattle to Washington, DC and toward a destination she doesn’t understand but is determined to reach. With every beat of her heart, every stride of her feet, Annabelle steps closer to healing—and the strength she discovers within herself to let love and hope back into her life.

Annabelle’s journey is the ultimate testament to the human heart, and how it goes on after being broken.

How do you write a book review about a book that was near perfect? This book blew me away. I love it so much. This is a book that will stick with me forever.

A Heart In A Body In The World follows Annabelle, a girl who has suffered an extremely traumatic event. One day Annabelle just decides to run. And run.

And run.

She is running from the pain. She is running from the past. She is running from the future. She is running away from it all. Running across the country give Annabelle strength to share her story. She meets many people along the way. She learns things about her family that she didn't know before.

Annabelle also learns about herself.

I freaking love this book. It was written so well. I'm getting chills just thinking about this book and the meaning of it. This is honestly one of the best books I have ever read.

Please read the trigger warnings before going into this book.
