Review: One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake

Synopsis:

The battle for the crown has begun, but which of the three sisters will prevail?

With the unforgettable events of the Quickening behind them and the Ascension Year underway, all bets are off. Katharine, once the weak and feeble sister, is stronger than ever before. Arsinoe, after discovering the truth about her powers, must figure out how to make her secret talent work in her favor without anyone finding out. And Mirabella, the elemental sister once thought to be the certain Queen Crowned, faces attacks like never before—ones that put those around her in danger she can’t seem to prevent.

Fennbirn’s deadliest queens must confront the one thing standing in their way of the crown: each other.

My Review

Why do I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't like this series? Everyone told me the first book was slow and that it got better in the second book. Well. I feel like this book took me longer to read. It was so boring. I'm not going to go into a lot in this review because I hate giving bad reviews.

I just don't feel connected to any of the characters and I could care less what happens with them.

I'm not entirely sure when I'm going to read the next book. If I'll even pick it up. This book did have a bit of excitement, just the hunt really. That was the reason this book is getting more than one star.

2/5 Stars
